April Already!

Good Morning!

  I wasn't really feeling clever/creative this morning...so I don't have an April Fool's post :( Regardless, please continue reading...lol I wan't to thank everyone who attended bell's Bday party. The food was great and it seemed all the little kids had a great time...Have you ever been inside one of those blow up bouncers? More specifically, a PRINCESS castle bouncer? lol well us "big" kids gave it a go. We couldn't resist...It did at one point cave in on us!! haha Big thanks to the tacos guys, they really took care of us. Sis Trish for hosting the party!

  So this past weekend I took a trip to Downtown L.A. If you ever visit southern California make sure and check it out...If your into shopping and crowded streets, featuring one way roads. lol The deals make it well worth it tho. I bought a new suit, also some dress shoes. Anthony went with me and he got a few things as well. If you really want to make his day...ask him how his grey shoes fit. lol He didn't double check his shoes...as a result he has two diff sizes! The following day was Crystal's surprise bday party! I played the game liar for the first time. It's a really fun loud game. I actually grilled the first batch of burgers...When asked where I learned to grill, I replied..."A man's gotta eat". lol Happy Bday Crystal! Alicia did a good job of putting the party together..

  Easter: We had really awesome church, Pastor White preached a great message about lifting up the name of Jesus. Bro. Michael Oscal preached evening service and the choir sang as well. I looked around during the service and saw a WAVE of Peach! seemed like everyone wore peach that night! at least it wasn't a wave of YELLOW. lol ;) So I got home earlier than normal last night..Tomas was hungry, I was already getting ready to go to bed....But I was asked to take him to In and Out...I picked up my neighbor Cody...Good kid, terrible eating habits tho. He still manages to stay thin. So as we pull up to In an Out we notice it's a little darker than usual...Come to find out, it's CLOSED! Why? well, many of you know that In and Out has a strong Christian faith background. So they were not open, I say good for them...

   Hope you all have a great weekend. To make things interesting, I will leave you all with this....I officially have a crush on this girl hahaha I will not say who she is but she has a smile that really lights up the room. If you wanna guess who, feel free too. It feel's like high school all over again. lol! Anyways, you all have a super blessed day and help the needy, be a friend to someone, or handle the dishes for your mom. lol

Spent the weekend in Atwater, CA! With some of my fav. people. (Midget Crew). haha My bros and I had so much fun. Memories that will last a lifetime. I seriously never laughed so much in my life. Some memories like pranking people on Voxer, getting lost in atwater, trying to follow Jacob on his bike. Watching as Josh spray paints his car and I so gracefully rub it on my new jeans...Parking my car on the front lawn of their house. Retrieving lost football in the neighbors house.  Dropping a ton of Relish on Jacob as payback. They dumped flour all over me, while I was in the shower. Buying the new 60 dollar tomb raider game and playing it for all of 6 minutes, after boredom set in. Then randomly leaving Walmart with a new bow and arrow. hahaha Josh A. Slapping the ball in his teammates face by mistake. Jeremy's Tazor! Oh man. Too much to remember.  Had the privilege  to attend one of the services at the local church. We had awesome church. Bro. Brown preached, "I am not a grasshopper". It was in reference to the people of Israel and how they felt like grasshoppers among giants. You have to remain positive and be bold. Totally geared towards evangelism. The actual Oncourse services were awesome as well. Bro. Alvear really was under a tremendous anointing and burden for the young people. Every night was special. I only managed to get a few pics but check them out!

 Good Morning! If your on your way to work, remember to smile! Work hard but before all that...Pray and be on time. Promptness is so crucial, get in the good habit of being on time (early in your life). Its shows your reliable and consistent. In other words, it separates you from the rest. (Screams greatness). Having worked with coworkers whom I had to train and supervise. Something so small as showing up on time, can be like slaying a giant. It tends to turn into bigger issues. I was inspired to post this, after a buddy of mine called asking for tips and advise. He has a big interview today and I pray he gets the job. I told him much of what I just wrote. It's worked before in my personal live, as well as other people I have advised. I'm not here bragging on myself because God has placed in me in the direction of some great examples. So I'm just returning the favor. haha I'm still and always will remain a work in progress but I ultimately just want to help, any way I can. I remember what it's like getting my first job, people  do watch you. Even tho your just the guying bagging groceries. Supervises still watch you and take notice of your attitude. Don't just have a "Clock in" mentality but do it like your doing it for God. As my mother says. Sure things get tedious sometimes but remain motivated. Maybe have an Ice coffee! High Five to all my coffee drinkers. haha Keep your head up and the best is yet to come.

Mayzer!

   This week my good friend Josh Mayes turns 26! Happy BDAY to him. This guy has always been a big brother to me. He and his family are some of the best people on earth. Make sure you wish him a happy bday! He doesn't like sushi, huge fan of Dr. Pepper and mastered the art of throwing an interception. I love going to his house and drinking all his water. This man taught me how to drive stick shift, how to lead by example. Josh also knows how to really contribute in pre-service prayer. Thanks for always inviting me to your house.....Creating rip tides in your make-shift swimming pool. Long girlfriend conversations, putting up with my sarcasm. Beating up Tom and Matt, etc. the list goes on...Hat's off to you good sir.
