Dog's over cats....
Good morning! I do apologize but I forgot my camera charger this morning so I can't upload my pics. Last night was the Christmas Recital and it went so well! Our church has been blessed to have Stevie Garcia (Excellent Guitarist & great teacher) teach so many of us from Victory Tabernacle. All that practice has been paying off for the students. My friend Gary plays the piano and it was his first time playing in front of a crowd! He received the biggest applause of the night! I had to hold back all the lady fans. haha Probably had all the ushers on alert. LOL There is that slight fear of messing up a chord or even worse......YOUR Voice cracking! haha What always calms me down is this mentality..."Your doing it for God". As simple as it sounds, it works. lol Stevie, my brothers and I, did "Jesus Messiah". The most popular version of this song, sung by Chris Tomlin. Tells the incredible event of Jesus (God) born to this world and eventually dying for our sins. It's a simple song but I love it. I had a blast! Many visitors attended. My good friend Joseph also came! So the pics are STILL to come...Hold your breath. lol
Okay so Dog's.....There the best! They protect you, they don't ask for a whole lot, there always happy to see you! Everyone knows this! EVERYONE. lol So why the need for a cat? lol! I never really got it.

What's new?
Good morning :)
I'm trying to fight through this cold I've been plagued with. lol. Our Christmas recital is this Sunday! I'm hoping to be better by then. If not then I will have a great excuse for not singing in front of a 100 plus people. haha Jk If I'm even 50 % I'll do it. I'm so proud of my younger brother for the progress he's made on the guitar. It just takes consistent practice. Him and I have different instructors, which I think is neat, because we can develop our different styles. It's been great working with Stevie Garcia, he's a real patient guy! haha
This is the guitar I should probably stick to....
Okay so I started tutoring. Just a couple nights out of the week. Basically 7-9th grade. I can't tell you how much fun it has been. Watching, the kido I work with, get a better understanding of Algebra. Together were working towards improving his overall grade. Every kid is different, some have different learning methods. As for me, all it took was that one good teacher I had. She really gave me a true understanding of it. It's unfortunate it took so long. lol but now I can help others and have been. You just have to make time and really focus.
This has just been a much needed update. Look for this Monday's post for Recital Pics.

Thank God for my mom!

Hope everyone had a great weekend, loads of food and found what they were looking for at 2 o'clock in the morning! haha Don't get me started on the left overs! "Don't eat turkey and drive" Turkey will drain the life out of you!

I am looking forward to Thanksgiving! I hope you are too! So much good food, surrounded by friends and family. Reminiscing on all the things your grateful for. It always good to recap on what God has done for you. What he delivered you from, situations he helped you through. Even the people he's placed in your life! So much to be thankful for. Just having your health, is a miracle with in itself. If you think on all these things, you can't help but smile. So make a great day for someone today, help someone. Make them laugh, encourage them.

Excited!
Good morning! :))) (double chin smile)
Sooo.. I'm pretty excited! why? because I'm three months away from being an official uncle! haha Uncle Elias, sounds really good, right? Yes. My beautiful sister and her husband are expecting there first child. Right now shes 5 months! With my sister eating for two, she still doesn't eat more than I do. So in a way...My eating habits are worse than pregnant woman. haha but seriously, it's pretty awesome. Were pretty sure on a name. I'm looking forward to buying her clothes and taking her to places like Chucky cheese! lol So I appreciate all your prayers on a beautiful healthy baby! Got some advice on being an uncle? Post a comment! haha

West Coast 2011!
Hi there :)
Okay so last Wednesday I rented this car. 2011 Ford Focus, took it up to West Coast :) Tomas and I made it there only stopping once for food. (In & Out). This year we had fun staying with Kyle and Daniel. There was never a dull moment. Had some of the hardest laughs ever! lol Okay and what's up with the Starbucks they had downstairs? It was a totally half-hearted approach. haha everyone kept referring to it as the "fake" Starbucks. lol Services were awesome! Faith building messages and a powerful push towards evangelism. I might of had a total of 5 hours of sleep during my three night stay. Some other interesting moments includes: Everyone shuffling around trying to find a ride to the restaurant or when I woke up Kyle late the morning his Pastor was preaching! He was running around all frantic, while I drank my ice coffee. That same night he brought over his friend Josh. The guy is hilarious. Congrats to my friend Jordan Hernandez and his wife Tiff on their son! I had meet so many new people, to name a few: Destiny, The Avendanos, Petaluma youth, Kandice, Monsi, Lily & the Arizona youth, Kimberly's brother. lol Too many to name. On a different note, Nancy taught me her slogan. "You can pet a Lama but you can't pet a Luma!" lol One of the nights Elena had squirted ketchup on her bf! lol You gotta love her. haha Daniel trying to sneak his way in a pic and almost falling in the fountain. Lot of great memories! Here's a few pics.
