Part of the human experience...

Hello :)

So I was thinking....why do we sometimes fear failure? fear messing things up or letting someone down? I read a quote a long time ago...

"You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take"

-Wayne Gretzky

Pause and dwell on that for a second. Nobody likes that "Wow, I missed out" Feeling... When a friend asks, "why didn't you go?" or "why didn't you say something". We hold back and later regret it. We don't want to admit we were scared...Weather it be fear of the outcome, or someones reaction. Honesty is always the healthy option because it levels everything. I have my share of "what if" moments. Don't dwell on the past but live and LEARN :) There will be plenty of more opportunities that will come along. Moving forward and keeping that in that mind. So take the shot ;)

Have a blessed day :)

51st state?!

Hello there!

Work Update

I got a new scanner *Thumbs Up* But there is a downside, it looks extremely delicate! I installed the software. It's scans both sides automatically. No big deal right? WRONG. lol! This is quite helpful :) and will save me lots of time. Thus bumping my efficiency level, up several notches. Also, a week or so ago, we had someone try and break into the building. Ha! (Good luck with that). The bandits managed to do a little damage to the front entrance, but that's about it. I should of took a picture of the door but I didn't want to interfere with the "Crime Scene" investigation. lol
It's weighs like less than a pound 0_o

Moving along...

Tomorrow,

Lord willing, I am planning on going down to "Down" Town L.A. I'm getting a new suit! Not sure on the color but it's going to be a gift from my mom :) So that's where you can find me. lol

Coffee,

Don't drink it as often anymore, I'm slowly trying to remove it from my diet all together. I DON'T need it =,(

Summer,

Enjoy it while you can, September is just around the corner. That means the kids (including my siblings) will be going back to school =D, No I'm not that mean. But seriously, it's almost up.

Southern California?

A county supervisor is trying to form the 51st state, how? By seceding a section of California!

includes; Riverside, San Bernardino, Imperial, San Diego, Orange, Kings, Kern, Fresno, Tulare, Inyo, Madera, Mariposa and Mono). As of right now it's just a proposal and seems out of reach. So why? The supervisor proposed this in response to Gov. Jerry Brown signing the states new legislation. The proposal aims to avoid many of these cities from filling for bankruptcy.

Quote of the day:

"So where is he going to put the capital? Disneyland?"

 -Robert Walsh.

Okay so, one last thing...It was nice having the Wakefields in town! It's okay, I get homesick too lol :)

have a great weekend and stay away from the 405 freeway! lol :)

Wow, here so soon!

Good Morning :)

I'm enjoying my last day as a 20 year old, can't believe how quickly time passes by. So the quote of the day should be, "Time waits for no man" lol This will be a rather simple post. For today only, I'm going to refrain from discussing the usual deep profound topics Lol :) For all the youngster's who "Can't wait to get older", be careful what you wish for. haha Looking back, it feels like yesterday. My friends and I couldn't wait till Friday pizza day at school. Painting on canvases and having your teacher read to you a Romona story. Also, the warning sticker on my mom's car.

I deeply disliked this sticker, I never was able to ride in the front.

My Personal Fav.

It's really not that bad lol I can't wait to CELEBRATE =D

Have a great day!

My July 4TH weekend!

Good day to you all! :)

I hope you all had a great weekend. It doesn't get bigger than July 4TH weekend! Lol This year my family and I spent the holiday weekend in Pismo Beach, CA. A good friend of mine lives out there and she loves the small beach town. I do too but I'll always be a city kid at heart. :) Saturday we pretty much spent the day shopping and exploring the town.

The outlets! Had a bunch of different stores.

=D
The following day we headed further north to an area, known as, Morrow Bay. In the past, my family and I would often travel to this town. Re visiting Morrow Bay, brought back a lot of fun memories.

There pretty good!

The beautiful bay!

Morrow Bay Rock

The Family

This is an awesome little memorial to all the lost men at sea

Matty James

We ran into a pirate while we were shopping lol

He was showing us all of his weapons

My mother and I :)

Monday we spent the day at Pismo Beach, which concluded with and awesome firework show. :)

Hope you all have a great day!

First day of July!

Good morning! :)

Happy Friday! Hope it's been a good week so far for you, It's been rough for me. Why? because I've gone the last week and a half w/ out coffee! that's right, those shackles are broken =D I'm dozing off as I'm typing lol. I've been giving a lot of thought to the possibility of having a birthday party this year. A beach party would be great, I hope on having most of the planning done by early next week.  Last night I was cleaning my fridge out, and no I don't mean eating everything (Thanks Rishelle) Lol But real cleaning, I started around 8:30pm. Well I wish I would of payed closer attention to how all the shelves and slide out pieces should look. It turned out to be a total nightmare! Lol I didn't go to bed till past 11, but hey the fridge looks good. Lol

Moral of the story: Pay attention

Jokes

1) Getting a better warranty: An angry motorist went back to a garage where he'd purchased an expensive battery for his car six months earlier.
"Listen," the motorist grumbled to the owner of the garage, "when I bought that battery you said it would be the last battery my car would ever need. It died after only six months!"
"Sorry," apologized the garage owner. "I didn't think your car would last longer than that."

2) Everything is funny: A blond had just gotten a new sports car and was out for a drive when she accidentally cut off a truck driver. He motioned for her to pull over.
When she did, he got out of his truck and pulled a piece of chalk from his pocket. He drew a circle on the side of the road and gruffly commanded to the blonde, "Stand in that circle and DON'T MOVE!".
He then went to her car and cut up her leather seats. When he turned around she had a slight grin on her face, so he said, "Oh you think that's funny? Watch this!" He gets a baseball bat out of his truck and breaks every window in her car. When he turns and looks at her she has a smile on her face. He is getting really mad. He gets his knife back out and slices all her tires. Now she's laughing. The truck driver is really starting to lose it. He goes back to his truck and gets a can of gas, pours it on her car and sets it on fire. He turns around and she is laughing so hard she is about to fall down.
"What's so funny?" the truck driver asked the blonde.
She replied, "Every time you weren't looking, I stepped outside the circle!"

Hope you have a great Fourth of July Weekend :) Catch some good fireworks and BBQ.
